Spot Sublimation
Direct dye printing for polyester garments
Description
Description
Sublimation is a fabric printing process in which dyes are injected into the fabric. This is in contrast to traditional screen printing, where ink is laid on top of the fabric surface. Since the ink actually becomes part of the fibers within the fabric, designs don’t sit on top of the garment. The result is an extraordinary feel, as though there is no print at all. This means that the design stretches along with the garment, won’t crack or fade over time, and the garment is able to maintain its full moisture wicking properties. This process is available on poly-based fabrics only.
